True Observing India

An educational trip for students of classes III to V was organised by Delhi Public School Indira Nagar at Rasoolpur Forest Conservatory under Awadh Forest Department, Lucknow. The aim of the programme was to create awareness and interest amongst students in taking initiative and support the cause of afforestation. The students thoroughly enjoyed themselves in the lap of nature and learnt various benefits of creating man made forests and lakes.

Various informative, fun-filled activities such as nature walk, bird watching, quiz and games were arranged for the students in order to enhance their scientific knowledge  and their over all development. The students learnt about oxbow lakes and co-existence of humans with regional flora and fauna. The day ended with cheerful faces taking home valuable lessons and information about conservation of natural elements.
